The GT-R was then ready for the next process. A quick check of the paintwork using the PD8, prior to the protection stage.
The car was then given a hand polish of Autoglym SuperGlym which was allowed to cure for approximately 40 minutes before buffing off prior to a 2nd coat of SuperGlym. Once this was taken off, the whole bodywork was then given a clean with a pre-wax cleanser, Swissvax Cleaner Fluid. Once this had been removed the car was ready for its protection coat.
Swissvax Zuffenhausen was the chosen wax for this detail as it had previously been used on my first GT-R detail and gave great results. The wax was left to cure for 20 minutes before being buffed off with a new microfibre cloth. The vehicle was then given another visual inspection, protective coverings from inside the car were removed and then the final and last wax coating was applied to the bodywork.
Not many shots of any worth with this detail, as the lighting was not it's best, the space provided was minimal and was located in a confined area of the detailing bay. Vehicle all detailed and ready for the customer to collect and drive away in the rain! My next detail.... yes you guessed it, another GT-R, this time in Bournemouth!
