Once clayed and the vehicle was then cleaned again and dried in the usual manner of drying towels. Next stage was to tape up the Audi ready for machine polishing to protect the thin edges and plastic parts.
After several passes using various polishes, it was decided that 3M Fast Cut Plus would be used to perfect the marred paintwork. Measurements of the body work were carried out giving an average of 140ยต (microns). No signs of re sprays or repair work on this RS4. Attention was given to the scratch on the rear door in order to remove completely. This process took alot of hours to carry out, as Audi paint is generally hard. Once the machine polishing cutting back was completed, the vehicle was then refined using 3M 09376 Machine Polish.
Once the car had been refined, it was given a wipe down with IPA to remove any residue oils left from the polish. Next up was to give the vehicle 2 coats of Dodo Juice Supernatural wax.
The alloys were treated to Swissvax Autobahn Wheel wax and the plastics & rubber sills were treated. The RS4 car was then moved outside for a few shots and a quick wipe over with Zaino Z8 final spray.
